About

The Printed Block is my small creative studio, rooted in traditional Indian woodblock printing and a love of thoughtful, handmade design.
I’m a printmaker, working slowly and intentionally with hand-carved wooden blocks, textile paint and natural fabrics. Each piece is printed by hand — no two are ever exactly the same.
I’ve always been drawn to pattern — to repetition, rhythm and the quiet satisfaction of making something with my hands. In printmaking, the beauty of imperfection is part of the process — and part of the joy.
Alongside small-batch printed pieces — from handmade paper greeting cards to organic textiles and biodegradable cloths — I run workshops throughout the year, alongside private sessions that can be arranged in your own space. These are designed to be calm, creative and accessible, with a focus on sharing the process and passing on the skills behind traditional block printing.
Sustainability matters to me. I work with natural materials wherever possible, use plastic-free packaging, and produce in small batches to reduce waste. Nothing here is factory-made — every piece passes through my hands first.
Thank you for supporting independent traditional craft.
