A New Chapter: The Printed Block

There is something deeply satisfying about printing by hand.

The rhythm of placing the block.
The pressure through the palm.
The lift to reveal what has transferred.

The Printed Block has grown from a love of traditional Indian woodblock printing and a desire to keep craft slow, intentional and human.

Every design begins with the block itself — carved wood carrying pattern and history. From there, each piece is printed by hand in small runs using carefully chosen natural materials. Slight variations in colour and placement are not mistakes; they are the evidence of the hand.

Alongside printed pieces for the shop, workshops are at the heart of this studio. Sharing the process — whether with complete beginners or those building confidence — feels just as important as the finished work. There is something special about seeing someone lift their first print.

This space will be where I share studio updates, new releases, workshop dates and moments from behind the scenes.
